Jim has achieved successful outcomes for his clients in a variety of matters and is not afraid to tackle cases that involve unique or difficult issues. For example, he is the lead attorney in a benchmark California case against the Social Security Administration to procure social security benefits for posthumously conceived children. It is testament to his work that the majority of his clients are referrals from other clients, attorneys and even opposing parties!

A passion for helping others first drew Jim to the field of law enforcement as a police officer in Southern California and, later, inspired him to pursue a career as an attorney. He began his practice under the tutelage of an attorney who has been practicing family law for more than fifty years. Jim now has his own law firm committed to helping clients receive what they are fully entitled to under the law and find some peace of mind in the resolution of their legal battles.

Jim is the founder of the California Police Officer’s Bar Association and a member of several bar associations in Southern California. Jim is also a frequent guest lecturer at courses and seminars.
